Took keen hold - towards rear throughout - kept on but never on terms (jockey said - regarding running and riding - that his instructions were to jump off - sit mid-division and obtain the best possible placing having not seen the trip out on previous run at Bangor-on-Dee on the 12 November 2025; jockey stated that he was happy with his position in the early stages and kept the gelding wide to obtain the better ground - however - gelding begun to hang left-handed leaving the back straight on the first circuit and had continued to do so for the remainder of the race - despite his efforts to prevent him from doing so - he added that gelding jumped well throughout but - again - due to him hanging going into his hurdles he was unable to fully attack them and having to concentrate on getting balanced and running straight; trainer confirmed the instructions and expressed his satisfaction with the ride)(op 125/1)
