Always behind (nquiry held into running and riding; jockey stated his instructions were to jump out and let filly settle where she was comfortable - however he suffered nterefence leaving stalls and again in first 1f - both facts he had reported at scales; he added his mount did not move fluently for much of the contest and also hung both ways but predominantly right-handed - which further limited how vigorously he was able to ride filly forward; he further added that he felt the bit had slipped through the mouth of filly which had contributed to her being somewhat intractable at times; trainer confirmed instructions and had no criticism of the ride - particulary in light of the injury she had sustained; vet reported filly to be significantly lame on her left fore)(op 20/1 tchd 18/1)
