Prominent - led after 1st - went clear after 2 out - ran on well run-in - comfortably (trainer said - regarding the apparent improvement in form - gelding had been off for a long time and had a very good run on his first run back. Trainer further added that the gelding didn't get the run of the race on his last run having got caught down the rail and never travelled due to the significant kickback. Today he made the running and got it easy in front which benefitted the gelding)(op 5/1)
