He said his mount had run very keen on its previous run and had fallen prior to that and that this was to the forefront of his instructions. He was happy to sit off a very fast early pace which helped the animal to settle and jump. His mount has a very high head carriage which made him look like he was travelling better than he was in the closing stages. Trainer - confirmed the instructions and expressed his satisfaction with the ride. He said the animal was very difficult - had run very free previously and expressed his delight that the appeared to settle much better)(tchd 80/1)
