Towards rear - 9th halfway - driven and headway 2f out to chase leaders in 5th over 1f out - ran on well inside final furlong where switched left into 2nd and led near finish (trainer said - regards the apparent improvement in form - gelding disappointed on its previous run when drawn in one and was ridden forward after the break - he further stated that his charge ran keen before running off the first bend and continued keen before tiring. He added that his charge was dropped out today and settled much better with the aid of a cross nose band and felt this - along with the application of a tongue tie had helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form)(tchd 25/1 and tchd 40/1)
