Held up in rear - nudged along after 4th - some headway from 2 out - never on terms (inquiry into running and riding; jockey said his instructions were to jump off towards the rear - to gain cover to get filly to settle - as she had raced keenly previously - and to obtain best possible placing thereafter; filly was wearing a first-time hood in an attempt to help settle - although filly was keen early she began to relax on run down hill as pace quickened; filly made mistakes at third and fourth hurdles and approx 4f out - she started to make a respiratory noise - which continued through to finish - a fact which he did not report at scales; jockey felt that filly then stayed on at one pace under pressure up straight to gain the best finishing position; trainer confirmed instructions - confirmed that he was happy with ride and that filly had previously had a respiratory issue - which was noted; vet had nothing to report)(op 50/1 tchd 66/1)
